Summary

This role is part of the Facilities and Support Services Division at Hamad Medical City, overseeing daily hospital laundry operations and ensuring the hygienic and efficient processing of linens and uniforms across HMC’s network of hospitals and facilities.

Ideal for professionals with experience in large-scale laundry or hospitality operations, this position focuses on delivering service excellence, meeting strict hygiene standards, and coordinating staff and resources to support one of the region’s leading healthcare providers

Education/Qualifications Required:

1. Diploma in Hotel Management OR
2. Bachelor  in Business Administration 
   • Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.  

Experience Post-Qualifications:

• Minimum Four (4) years of experience in laundry Operations experience in high-volume laundry 

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Oversee daily operations of hospital laundry services across assigned facilities.
• Supervise laundry staff, assign tasks, and monitor shift performance.
• Maintain strict hygiene and infection-control standards in all laundry processes.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to manage linen and uniform requirements.
• Track laundry volumes, turnaround times, and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure proper use of laundry equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Manage stock levels of detergents, chemicals, and supplies.
• Prepare operational reports for management on productivity and performance.
• Train and guide staff to maintain consistent quality and safety standards.
• Implement cost-control measures while meeting service delivery requirements.
