King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC), ranking #1 in the region, is a state-of-the-art 500+ bed tertiary care and referral hospital facility located in the heart of Jeddah, a major urban centre and the second largest city after Riyadh. The Radiology Department treats patients with highest quality of care using state of art technology in diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic procedures. The department is the pioneer of many innovative programs and procedures in the Middle East and is continually dedicated to improvement and progress. Around an average of 95,000 radiological diagnostic exams and procedures are performed per year.
The Radiology Department is an seeking exceptionally talented, adventurous and enthusiastic Chairman to enrich and direct their team of radiologists. The immediate need is for an Consultant in Radiology with experience in a leadership head or chair position.

The Chair is expected to provide leadership of the department and to oversee the departmental strategic planning so as to improve the quality of the clinical, educational, and research programs. He/She is responsible for the overall management of his/her department staff as stipulated in the Employee Relations Manual and the Medical Staff bylaws. He/She serves as an advocate for the department’s interests.
- American Board Certification (or equivalent from: Canada, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand)
- 10 years of experience post Board Certification
- Administrative experience as Chairman/Deputy Chairman/Head of Medical Service or similar position should be a minimum of (5) years
- Must have teaching and research accomplishments in a reputable university
- Current License to practice from country of origin
