Clinical Resource Nurse Burn Unit
Responsible to treat patients that have experienced various degrees of burn trauma. Working with a team of practitioners, they help individuals who have suffered burn injuries due to contact with fire, chemicals, oil or electricity. Their work is considered a type of critical care.
Education / Qualification Required:
BS Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
Master of Science in Nursing Preferred
Minimum Four (4) years of clinical experience in an acute care healthcare setting.
Experience as a Clinical Resource Nurse in an Acute Care Tertiary Setting focusing on medical/surgical adult care or medical/surgical intensive care nursing.
Experience of leading change and championing evidence-based practice
Valid and in a good Standing License in current country of practice

Implements and evaluates educational activities including orientation
Continuing education and competency programs
Formulates measurable performance criteria to assess nurses’ levels of competence
Facilitates the development and maintenance of continuing education programs that supports the nurses/midwifes in all specialty areas towards improvement in clinical practice.
Demonstrates experience of mentoring and teaching
