With expertise in musculoskeletal injuries and sports-related conditions, you will provide on-field and clinical medical support, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care. Education / Qualifications Required:

  • Basic medical degree from a recognized institution
  • Master’s degree in Sports Medicine or formal training in sports medicine (e.g., fellowship training, board-recognized subspecialty in sports medicine)
  • Specialty Board certification in Sports Medicine is highly desirable
  • Qualification source preferred from: North America, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
  • Must fulfill all medical licensing requirements
  • Excellent English communication skills; Arabic language proficiency is a strong advantage

Experience:

  • Experience from North America, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand is preferred
  • Minimum (7) Seven years of Sports Medicine experience
  • Minimum (3) Three years in a similar role

License:

  • Current and in good standing Medical License to practice in the country of residence

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary medical care to athletes, ensuring adherence to clinical practice guidelines
  • Diagnose, treat, and prevent sports-related injuries, optimizing athlete health and performance
  • Offer both immediate and long-term medical support, focusing on physical restoration
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists and nutritionists, for integrated athlete care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with professional standards
  • Provide medical coverage for national and international sporting events, coordinating clinic staff as needed
  • Ensure adherence to WADA anti-doping regulations and principles of clean sport

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with clinic staff, coaches, and medical teams
  • Participate in case review meetings to assess and improve athlete care
  • Conduct CPR and First Aid training for clinic staff on a quarterly basis
  • Propose and implement improvements for clinic services and athlete care operations
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior medical staff
  • Organize and prioritize caseload efficiently, ensuring high-quality care delivery

Education & Training Responsibilities:

  • Lead or participate in Sports Medicine in-service training to enhance team expertise
  • Assist in organizing educational activities and training sessions for medical and support staff
  • Deliver clinical education on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and sports safety practices
  • Participate in ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME) to maintain professional credentials
  • Engage in professional development initiatives to advance the field of Sports Medicine
