Endodontics Consultant

Summary

Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases and conditions, as well as the provision of medical care in the field of Endodontics Consultant in accordance with the current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and the Organization policies and procedures in Saudi Arabia

Education/Qualifications Required:

1. Basic medical degree from recognized institution
2. Post-qualification certification
   • Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.  
     • USA: The American Board of Endodontics (ABE)
     • Canada: The Royal College of of Dentists of Canada (RCDC)
     • UK and Ireland: CCT/CCST Specialist Register – Dentistry
     • Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP – Dentistry)
     • Western Europe: Equivalent certification to the above

Experience Post-Qualifications:

• Minimum Three (3) years after board / equivalence certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES)
• Minimum Five (5) years after board / equivalence certification in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and France (DIS).

License:

Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Full dentures, acrylic and cast metal partials
• Precision attachment for crown and bridge and removable prostheses
• Bar and clip prostheses
• Inlays and onlays
• Porcelain veneers
• Pre-orthognathic cast for diagnosis and pre-surgical stints
• Post orthognathic appliances
• Post orthodontic appliances
• Pedodontics prostheses
• Perform all prosthetic part of implant(s) based on his/her formal training and privileging
• Hinge appliances
• Periodontic splint appliances
• Dental intra oral photography
• Cleft palate appliances
• Radiation protection devices for oncology patients
• All prosthetic repairs
• Post/core build-up for endodontically treated teeth
• Provide consultation as required.
• Provide other mode of treatment in various dental disciplines.
• Effectively communicate with other divisional and auxiliary staff members.
• Provide administrative services within the department as required.
• Perform other job related duties as directed by the Chairman of Dental Services, Central Region
