Summary

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic leadership, direction, guidance and supports administration of operations ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. Involved in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating new clinical outreach opportunities in collaboration with key service line and departmental leaders. Provides support to senior leadership in strategic planning, project facilitation, productivity and operations improvement, strategic analysis, space planning, and other strategic activities within the hospital.

Education/Qualifications Required:

  1. Bachelor’s in healthcare related field Plus Master’s Degree
    • Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.  

Experience Post-Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years in Healthcare setting at senior level.
  • At least 5  years in Business Development activities.

License:

  • Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Ensures compliance in support services with JCI and healthcare regulations and policies governing hospitals, monitors operations and initiates changes as and when required contributing to the achievement of the strategic goals.
  • Lead and direct the hospital support services and provide administrative guidance to the clinical departments toward high quality of care and service.
  • Establish departmental strategic plans, examine, assess, and utilize all performance metrics on hospital activities and trends to design and implement corrective action to enhance service and performance levels and drive growth.
  • Provide strategic leadership, guidance, decision making support to develop business cases for new opportunities. Facilitate strategic plan development using a data driven approach in partnership with key medical group and care site stakeholders.
  • Review department’s Key Performance Indicators and assess performance periodically to implement corrective actions when performance does not meet expectations.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, including on-going refinement and alignment of best practices, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations etc.
  • Assure the sound fiscal operation of the institution including the timely, accurate, and comprehensive development of an annual budget and its allocation, review all capital equipment expenditures ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
  • Charter and lead special facility projects integral to the ongoing growth and success of the hospital.
  • Mentor, motivate and develop Business Development team through effective leadership.
