We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic and passionate candidate whom will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting the established standard of nursing practice and performance.

Summary

Responsible to organize treatments plans between the patient and medical team.

Education / Qualifications Required:

  • BS Degree in Nursing

Experience:

  • Minimum Four (4) years of nursing experience if holding MS Degree including two (2) Years of Leadership Experience
  • Minimum Six (6) years of nursing experience if holding BS Degree including two (2) Years of Leadership Experience

License:

  • Current and in Good Standing Nursing License/Registration (RN) to practice in country of residence

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides educational activities and programs to meet the learning needs of the nursing staff. Develops and plans programs to cover department/unit/ individual needs and submits programs to the Director of Training Medical Education  for Approval. Organizes the clinical rotation of students and on-the-job trainees on the patient care units, Participates in the review and development of Policies and Procedures and Standards of Patients Care.
  • Acting as a key player for all Saudi Commission accredited courses.
  • Performs duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code of Conduct.
  • Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department/service and within the hospital as per Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan.
  • Actively participates in all the education requirement and activities as per the Hospital Education Program.
  • Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of practice and employment contract.
  • Participates in implementing the process for establishing evidence-based approach to training. utilizing latest technology, as applicable.
  • Reviews Personnel Qualification Data (PQI)) and recommends hiring and interview candidates as necessary.
  • Collaborates with nursing, medical, and clinical support service managers for ongoing educational development of staff to ensure that life support programs meet operational and professional requirements.
  • Utilizes adult learning principles, expected outcomes and a range of recognized education methods to deliver a quality ongoing life support education service.
  • Provide guidance to KFMMC staff on the level of training required and work with the lite support team to ensure these needs are met.
  • Schedules classes, meetings, demonstrations and presentations at times convenient for nursing personnel.
  • Cooperates with Other departments in the utilization of educational resources.
  • Cooperates with Other departments in the utilization of educational resources.
  • Acts as clinical/managerial resource person for nursing personnel as well as Military Personnel to facilitate On-The-Job-Training (OJT) programs and clinical experience.
  • Maintains and updates reference materials.
  • Recommends equipment replacement or purchase.
  • Prepares reports, proposals. and statistics as needed.
  • Exercises professional behavior and is accountable for his/her actions.
  • Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Supervises the Clinical Instructors performance and acts on behalf of the ADON absence when needed.
  • Actively participate in managing the department’s in-house training programs to meet KFMMC requirements.
  • Assumes administrative responsibility for management of a designated unit
  • Develops, coordinates, and ensures quality improvement activities supportive of the Nursing Department and Hospital’s Continuous Quality Improvement & Patient Safety (CQI & PS) program.
  • Plans, develops, and evaluates the unit’s goals and objectives and participates in departmental guidelines review and development.
  • Develops a staffing plan, reviews, revises. and verifies work schedules. Plans individual performance and educational needs as required.
  • Maintain individual records for all assigned staff including attendance, overtime, and licensure.
  • Ensure staff compliance to current hospital policies and procedures and departmental guidelines.
  • Keeps the unit staff updated with current and all required information through effective and appropriate communication
  • Recommends and participates in educational programs which facilitate quality patient care, leadership skill, and professional growth.
  • Assumes administrative responsibility for management of a designated unit.
  • Develops, coordinates, and ensures quality improvement activities supportive of the Nursing Department and Hospital’s Continuous Quality Improvement & Patient Safety (COI PS) program.
  • Plans, develops, and evaluates the units goals and objectives and participates in departmental guidelines review and development.
