Restorative Dentistry Consultant

Summary
Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases and conditions, as well as the provision of medical care in the field of Periodontics Dentistry in accordance with the current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and the Organization policies and procedures in Saudi Arabia
Education/Qualifications Required:
- Basic medical degree from recognized institution
- Post-qualification certification
- Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
- USA: The American Board of Dentistry
- Canada: National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB – Dentistry)
- UK and Ireland: CCT/CCST Specialist Register – Dentistry
- Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP – Dentistry)
- Western Europe: Equivalent certification to the above
- Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
Experience Post-Qualifications:
- Minimum Three (3) years after board / equivalence certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES)
- Minimum Five (5) years after board / equivalence certification in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and France (DIS).
License:
Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oral examinations, diagnostic and sequential treatment plan
- Build-ups and multisurface amalgam restoration
- Prefabricated and cast post and cores
- Direct and indirect esthetic restoration
- May do fixed bridge
- Gold restorations (inlays, onlays and crowns)
- Caries control and management case
- Bleaching (vital and non-vital)
- Occlusal adjustments and occlusal guards
- Provide consultation as required.
- Provide other mode of treatment in various dental disciplines.
- Effectively communicate with other divisional and auxiliary staff members.
- Provide administrative services within the department as required.
- Perform other job-related duties as directed by the Chairman of Dental Services, Central Region.
