Education / Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • OR Associate Degree/Diploma or country equivalent + Bachelor’s in Nursing related field

Experience:

  • Experience from North America, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand is required.
  • Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience, including at least 1 year in a similar role

License:

Current and in good Standing Nursing License/Registration (RN) to practice in country of residence

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage nursing resources efficiently to ensure fair workload distribution and match clinical complexity with nursing competency.
  • Coordinate daily patient care activities to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality care delivery.
  • Provide culturally and religiously appropriate care to patients and families, promoting positive health outcomes.
  • Respond quickly to emerging patient needs, solve problems effectively, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Conduct nursing interventions in alignment with hospital policies, procedures, and professional codes of conduct.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and best practices.
  • Promote evidence-based practice in patient care and participate in the review of policies and procedures.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Use S.B.A.R. (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) for structured clinical communication.
  • Work with nursing supervisors to mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Assist in educational activities and take a leading role in clinical training with the Head Nurse and Nurse Educator.
  • Maintain mandatory and core competencies, engaging in professional development to enhance nursing skills.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures, focusing on efficient resource utilization and cost control.
  • Uphold QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) standards, maintaining a safe and world-class patient care environment.
