Summary

As a Dermatology Consultant at SSMC, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions while incorporating advanced aesthetic dermatology techniques. Your expertise in medical and cosmetic dermatology will be instrumental in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment plans and contribute to education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Education / Qualifications Required

1. Basic medical degree from recognized institution
2. Post-qualification certification
   • Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand. 
     • USA: American Board of Dermatology (ABD)
     • Canada: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate (FRCPC)
     • UK and Ireland: GMC/CCST Specialist Register in dermatology 
     • Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP) – Dermatology 

Experience Required

• Minimum (2) two  years post-board certification.
• Experience in aesthetic dermatology 

License & Certifications

• Current and in Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.
• BLS or ACLS Certification (Basic & Advanced Life Support).

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a variety of medical dermatological conditions.
• Perform aesthetic dermatology procedures.
• Develop customized skincare and treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Provide dermatologic screenings for early detection of skin cancers and other serious conditions.
• Collaborate with plastic surgeons, endocrinologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients on skincare regimens, preventative measures, and post-treatment care.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, dermatology residents, and fellows.
• Conduct training workshops on aesthetic dermatology and evidence-based skin treatments.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in dermatology and cosmetic medicine.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, patient safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress.
