Summary

Leads and develops the Medical Tourism, strategy to attract international patients, expand global market presence, and enhance patient experience.

Education / Qualification Required:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other related discipline is required
  2. Master’s Degree in Healthcare related is preferred.
    • Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.  

Experience Post-Qualifications:

  • At least fifteen (15) years of related experience with minimum of five (5) years of experience in a large organization is required

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements the overall medical tourism strategy aligned with the hospital’s mission and objectives.
  • Sets annual targets for patient volume, revenue, partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Establishes and maintains partnerships with global healthcare providers.
  • Oversees creation of multilingual marketing materials and online content.
  • Drives the transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, adoption of best practice, and continuous improvement across all Medical Tourism function.
  • Manages branding strategies to brand the hospital as a leading international healthcare destination.
  • Oversees end-to-end international patient services including inquiries, medical opinions, admissions, discharge, and post-care follow-up.
  • Establish and monitors service standards related to patient satisfaction, response time, quality of care, and case turnaround.
  • Manages department staffing, professional development, and performance evaluation.
  • Leads crisis management and resolution efforts for complex patient situations.
  • Oversees financial performance, cost-control measures, and revenue optimization.
  • Oversees selecting, recruiting, learning, retaining, and evaluating staff. Recommends appointments,
  • terminations, re-contracts, and promotion of staff, as necessary.
  • Ensures adherence to international healthcare quality standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
  • Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures.
  • Participates in self and others’ education, training and development, as applicable.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
