Pediatric Surgical Neurophysiology Consultant

Summary
Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases and conditions, as well as the provision of medical care in the field of Surgical Neurophysiology in accordance with the current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and the Organization policies and procedures in Saudi Arabia
Education/Qualifications Required:
- Basic medical degree from recognized institution
- Post-qualification certification
- Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
- USA: The American Board of Surgical Neurophysiology
- Canada: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate (FRCPC – Surgical Neurophysiology )
- UK and Ireland: CCT/CCST Specialist Register – Surgical Neurophysiology
- Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP – Surgical Neurophysiology )
- Western Europe: Equivalent certification to the above
- Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
Experience Post-Qualifications:
- Minimum Three (3) years after board / equivalence certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES)
- Minimum Five (5) years after board / equivalence certification in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and France (DIS).
License:
Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide high consultation quality services to Surgical Neurophysiology patients clientele.
- Provide consultation services to the patient as requested.
- Supervise Surgical Neurophysiology of lower grades, with particular reference to staff physicians
- Teach and supervise Surgical Neurophysiology residents lower in the grades in Surgical Neurophysiology Residency Program.
- Participate in and departmental initiate and hospital teaching activities.
- Participate in and initiate research activities
- Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed
- Maintain a list of privileges, and work within administrative the confines functions of that perimeter.
- Understand and the adhere quality to all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to Department medical of practice.
- Participate in the quality improvements and reviews conducted by the department of Surgical Neurophysiology
- Perform Other Related duties as appropriate and as assigned
- Undertake other continuing related duties medical as education appropriate and activities.
