Summary

Within the mission, vision and values of Saudi Arabian Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs, lead, manage and oversee the activities of the assigned Nursing departments by assuming a 24-hour accountability; oversee clinical nursing performance and priority setting underpinned by the development of policy, procedures and guidelines.

Education/Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing/Management from an accredited institution

Experience Post-Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 (ten) years’ current clinical nursing experience following licensure/ registration in the country of origin, 5 (five) years of which in comparable managerial capacity 

License:

  • Current and in good Standing Nursing License/Registration (RN) to practice in country of residence

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate and manage the operations and activities of the assigned outpatient clinic by assuming 24-hour accountability.
  • Oversee clinical nursing performance and patient flow, ensuring delivery of safe, efficient and patient-centered care in line with evidence-based practice.
  • Ensure nursing staff and all learners provide care within scope of practice, policies, procedures and established standards of outpatient care.
  • Plan, organize and monitor daily clinic operations, including staffing, scheduling and resource allocation to meet service demands.
  • Supervise, support and evaluate nursing staff performance; provide coaching, feedback and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Facilitate the development, implementation and evaluation of educational activities to meet the identified needs of nursing and support staff.
  • Promote a positive work environment that supports teamwork, accountability and professional growth aligned with organizational values.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction, address complaints and implement service improvements to enhance patient experience.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety and quality standards; participate in audits and accreditation processes.
  • Identify, develop, implement and evaluate quality improvement initiatives; recognize opportunities for operational and clinical improvements.
  • Oversee documentation standards, ensuring accurate, timely and complete patient records in accordance with policies and regulations.
  • Manage clinic resources including equipment, supplies and inventory; ensure availability and proper utilization.
  • Participate in budget planning and control expenditures in alignment with departmental and organizational targets.
  • Collaborate with physicians, administration and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and clinic services.
  • Prepare reports, analyze clinic performance data and present outcomes to leadership as required.
  • Represent the clinic in meetings and coordinate activities with other departments and external stakeholders when needed.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding and retention strategies for nursing staff.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
