Education/Qualifications Required:
- Basic medical degree from recognized institution
- Post-qualification certification
- Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
- USA: The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABP)
- Canada: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate (FRCPS or CCF)
- UK and Ireland: GMC/CCST Specialist Register or CESR
- Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP)
- Western Europe: Equivalent certification to the above
- Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
Experience Post-Qualifications:
KSA | Minimum Three (3) years after board/equivalent certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES). Minimum Five (5) years after board/equivalent certification in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and France (DIS). |
Qatar | Minimum Three (3) years after board/equivalent certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES) and other above listed countries. Minimum One (1) year experience at Public/ Government Hospital or Teaching / Academic institution *Family Medicine Physicians require 2 publications where the physician is first or second author after post qualifications. One can be a Study Case. |
UAE | Procedural: Minimum Three (3) years after board/equivalent certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand Non Procedural: Minimum Two (2) years after board/equivalent certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand
