Emergency Medicine – Nurse Clinician
We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic and passionate candidate whom will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting the established standard of nursing practice and performance.
Summary
Responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting the established standard of nursing practice and performance. Demonstrates leadership competencies while in charge or acting as shift resource/team leader.
Education / Qualification Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience:
- Experience from North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand is a must
- Four (4) years of nursing experience in Emergency Medicine
License:
- License from North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand is a must.
- Current and in good Standing Nursing License/Registration (RN) to practice in country of residence
- Current BLS/ACLS required
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical care, demonstrating advanced nursing knowledge and clinical competence in Emergency Medicine.
- Act as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
- Lead patient care initiatives in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
- Develop, review, and implement clinical guidelines, protocols, and policies for the Emergency Medicine Unit.
- Serve as a resource for evidence-based nursing practice and promote continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Act as an advisor and resource for complex patient care issues, including critical and emergency situations.
- Maintain patient safety by adhering to infection control measures, quality standards, and hospital policies.
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff, addressing educational needs and discharge planning requirements.
- Participate in research activities, clinical audits, and quality improvement projects to advance nursing practice.
- Advocate for patient rights and ensure culturally sensitive care for patients and their families.
- Serve as a professional role model, consultant, and educator, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assume leadership responsibilities in the Emergency Medicine Unit, including delegation, supervision, and coordination of nursing care.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
