Staff Nurse Cath Lab

We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic and passionate candidate whom will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting the established standard of nursing practice and performance.

Summary

Responsible for assists with the different cardiac procedures in the cath lab, ranging from basic diagnostic procedures to more complex interventions

Education / Qualification:

• BS Degree in Nursing

Experience Post Qualifications:

• Minimum Two (2) years of experience on a Cath Lab Unit

License

• Current and in good Standing Nursing License/Registration (RN) to practice in country of residence

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs complete documentation and hemodynamic monitoring of patients during procedures
• Assists physicians during catheterization procedures and in the interpretation of special and complex invasive imaging procedures
• Functions as a clinical and technical resource to laboratory personnel
• Meets the pre and post procedures care of patients, which may include patient education
• Performs maintenance and quality assurance monitoring of equipment devices in the laboratory
• Maintains a positive interaction with medical device vendors
• Cooperates with cardiology engineers in the upkeep and quality assurance of radiographic, hemodynamic and other equipment
