Pediatric Cardiology Consultant

Education/Qualifications Required:
- Basic medical degree from recognized institution
- Post-qualification certification
- Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
- USA: The American Board of Pediatric Cardiology
- Canada: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate (FRCPC -Pediatric Cardiology)
- UK and Ireland: CCT/CCST Specialist Register – Pediatric Cardiology )
- Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP – Pediatric Cardiology)
- Western Europe: Equivalent certification to the above
- Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
Experience Post-Qualifications:
- Minimum Three (3) years after board/equivalent certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES).
- Minimum Five (5) years after board/equivalent certification in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and France (DIS).
License:
- Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.
- Current BLS/ACLS Certificate
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reporting Pediatric Cardiology and or NM Exams according to his/her qualification, privileges, and subspecialty.
- Adhere to the turn-around time of the department when reporting the assigned exams.
- Carry out on-calls as required by the department.
- Actively participates in QI activities
- Reports any violations of the rules and regulations of the department to the Chairman.
- Participates in education and in formal education programmed of the Hospital.
- Participate in training Residents, audit their work, and encourage them to produce research work and publication.
- Participate in the Department Educational activities.
- Serve in Hospital Committees as appointed by Chairman or Hospital Director.
