Summary:

This is a unique  vacancy for a Digital Lead at one of the most prestigious Health Systems in one of the GCC Countries (Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait).  The role requires determining and providing strategic leadership by articulating current and future needs to the Hospital by deriving all digital activities. Defines clear digital goals and objectives aligned with the overall Hospital’s strategy.

Education:

    • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or other related field is required.

Experience:

    • Experience Required At least Fifteen (15) years of digital experience with a minimum of Five (5) years of experience as a Chief Digital Officer or equivalent in a large organization is required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develops and implements a comprehensive digital strategy, analyzes the current digital landscape and identifies growth opportunities.
    • Derives related extensive change effort required to transform the organization to be a best in class provider in line with the hospital’s overall strategy.
    •  Aligns digital and technology optimization strategy with business-based decisions at all levels of the Hospital to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
    •  Collaborates closely with all stakeholders to drive innovation, transformation, automation, and the realization of digital goals and objectives.
    • Promotes an entrepreneurial mindset to the role, exploring innovative digital strategies, taking calculated risks, and driving transformative change within the Hospital.
    •  Develops a roadmap for achieving digital strategy, including initiatives, timelines, and resources.
    •  Oversees the implementation of digital projects and initiatives across the Hospital tracks the progress and measures the success of digital initiatives.
    • Fosters a culture of innovation and digital adoption within the Hospital. Evaluate and identify emerging technologies that can benefit the Hospital.
    • Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of the service delivery process; assesses and monitors workload, administrative, support systems, and internal /external reporting relationships, in addition to identifying opportunities for improvement.
