Summary

Within the mission, vision and values of Saudi Arabian Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, delivery of pediatric anesthesia and related services to the patients of the KASCH, Jeddah appropriate to their expertise, work experience, language and computer skills under the responsibility of the Chairman of the Department of Pediatric Pathology

Education/Qualifications Required:

  1. Basic medical degree from recognized institution
  2. Post-qualification certification
    • Qualification Source from: North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.  
      • USA: The American Board of Pediatric Pathology (AMP)
      • Canada: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate (FRCPC – Pediatric Pathology)
      • UK and Ireland: CCT/CCST Specialist Register -Pediatric Pathology
      • Australia and New Zealand: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP – Pediatric Pathology)
      • Western Europe: Equivalent certification to the above

Experience Post-Qualifications:

  • Minimum Three (3) years after board/equivalent certification in USA, Canada, Ireland, UK, Australia, New Zealand and France (DES).
  • Minimum Five (5) years after board/equivalent certification in Spain, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Netherlands, Greece and France (DIS).

License:

  • Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.
  • Current BLS/ACLS Certificate

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide diagnostic and consultative services to physicians and patients in accordance with privileges granted.
  • To participate in educational programs for the stan: Medical Technology students interns. residents and pru1icipatcs in continuing education for laboratory staff and staff physicians.
  •  Serves on Hospital and Departmental committees as directed.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of new techniques and services.
  •  Actively participates in the Quality Improvement program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
