Pathology Consultant – Clinical

Summary

Responsible for leading and supervising the delivery of high quality evidence-based care; effectively and efficiently diagnosing, managing and treating all patients placed under the post holder’s care. The Consultant Physician is expected to be an example of clinical excellence within his or her specialty and to provide leadership and training for junior medical staff.

Education/Qualification:

1. Basic medical degree from a recognized institution
2. American Board of Clinical Pathology

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years substantial experience in clinical pathology and laboratory medicine after obtained ABOP certification

License:

• Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in performing and supervising laboratory procedures and quality control measures
• Expertise in interpreting laboratory test results, diagnosing diseases, and providing consultative services.
