Nursing Administration – Nursing Supervisor
Summary
Responsible for organizing treatment plans between the patient and the medical team.
Education / Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience:
- Experience from North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand is a must.
- Minimum Five (5) years of progressive nursing experience, including Two(2) years of nursing leadership experience
License:
- License from North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand is a must.
- Current and in good Standing Nursing License/Registration (RN) to practice in country of residence
- Current BLS/ACLS required
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs his/her duties and tasks as per Hospital Policy and Agreement on Professional Code or Conduct.
- Actively participates in all quality and performance improvement activities within the department/service and within the hospital as per Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Plan,
- Actively participates in all the education requirement and activities as per the Hospital Education Program,
- Actively participates in all the education requirement and activities as per the Hospital Education Program,
- Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of practice and employment contract
- Collaborate with Nursing Administration in all strategic and operational planning and support the strategic and annual operational execution.
- Take full responsibility and 24/7 accountability for overall operations in the clinical area(s)/unit(s) assigned, as per the Organization Chart; demonstrating strong critical thinking skills in making appropriate clinical and managerial decisions and judgments.
- Use expert nursing, clinical knowledge, and skills to ensure the delivery of quality nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care
- Participate in the development and adherence to scope service and policies as related to assigned areas.
- Ensure allocated unit(s) are organized, safe, and meet relevant regulatory standards.
- Be responsible for maintaining required annual plans and programs for the clinical area/unit.
- Provide visible and effective transformational leadership. which fosters a positive, sale working environment, a Culture of Safety and a Culture of Civility.
- Per delegation/assignment. actively participate in hospital-wide committees and positively represent the organization and the profession of nursing both internally and externally.

- Support standardization of all initiatives, performance improvement projects and nursing practice within their scope of authority within Nursing Administration.

- Support and ensure continuous cost effective and value-based efficient use of human, material and financial resources, including supplies and consumables.
- Participate in and coordinate the recruitment and onboarding of qualified staff in sufficient numbers within the unit/organization, in accordance with the Annual Stalling Plan.
- Work collaboratively with the credentialing processes and committees to maintain acceptance of high-quality nurses to fulfil current and future nursing manpower requirements.
- Ensure all staff are appropriately assigned to job positions and allocations and maintain valid qualifications and competencies, as well as probationary and annual performance evaluations.
- Foster growth and development of a national workforce.
- Empower and support the development of staff at all levels to maintain a high performing workforce and adequate succession planning.
- Promote confidence and transparency through effective and professional communication
- Support, develop and ensure compliance of evidence-based policies, procedures and guidelines in fulfilment with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and model patient experience initiatives across the continuum of care while working inter-professionally within the facility.
