The establishment of SEHA is part of the Government of Abu Dhabi’s healthcare sector reform initiatives and represents another step in the realization of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President if the UAE’s vision to provide the people of UAE with the best healthcare facilities in the world, locally.

SEHA is an independent, public joint stock company (PJSC) created to manage and develop the curative activities of the public hospitals and clinics of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. SEHA owns and operates 15 Healthcare Facilities, 2,600 licensed beds, more than 55 AHCs & PHCs and 14,350 employees. Managing the Ambulatory Health Care Services and Al-Gharbia Hospitals.

SEHA manages the public hospitals and clinics in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates Capital.  We operate 12 hospital facilities, 2,644 licensed beds, and more than 60 Ambulatory and Primary Healthcare Clinics across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. In addition SEHA is commissioning two 600 plus bed hospitals over the coming two years. We employ approximately 17,000 people making us one of the largest employers in the Middle East.

SEHA delivers world class healthcare, locally, by partnering with internationally recognized healthcare leaders. Our partners include Johns Hopkins Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, Bumrungrad International, New England Center for Children, Vamed and Medical University of Vienna.

The Cleveland Clinic located in Cleveland, Ohio is a not-for-profit multi-specialty academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education. Cleveland Clinic founded in 1921 by four renowned physicians with a vision of providing outstanding patient care based upon the principles of cooperation, compassion and innovation.
